The development team at EA Sports announces that it has implemented a number of upgrades to the statistics of the players that are available for the Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 14 and that more will be offered before the end of the month.

The studio explains that the changes are designed to reflect the way the real world players have performed and should enhance the experience for all those involved.

The Ultimate Team mode has been increasing in popularity since it was introduced and is a huge revenue generator for Electronic Arts.

Today the company also announced that it was making legendary attacker Ruud van Nistelroy available for the Legends mode, which is exclusive to Xbox devices.

The footballer can be obtained by completing four new challenges and will give all those who field him an edge against other players.
