The development team at EA Sports is delivering yet another installment of its long-running Team of the Week update for the Ultimate Team game mode in FIFA 14, allowing gamers to get access to a wide variety of players with updated stats that can improve every squad that they are part of.

Somewhat surprisingly, the package that fans can pick up is not based on the players who have done well at the World Cup in Brazil, despite the fact that the competition has been heavily featured in the football simulation titles.

So gamers can get access to players like Lee Dong Gook, Sean Wright-Phillips or Hamoud, who do not have the name recognition, but do have solid stats and can improve the teams that they become part of.

EA Sports has not said for how long it will continue to deliver Ultimate Team updates for FIFA 14, but the feature will get a boost when national championships start up again in August.

At the same time, the studio is working on a new title in its long-running series, which will be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the PS3, the Xbox One, and the 360 at the end of September.

FIFA 15 is designed to use an improved version of the Ignite engine, and the studio has said that Ultimate Team fans are in for some surprises, although it has not yet offered any details on what they might entail.
