The team at EA Sports has congratulated the German team on winning the 2014 edition of the real life World Cup and is celebrating the occasion by launching a new upgraded version of Man of the Match Mario Gotze that all gamers can include in their own Ultimate Team in order to try and replicate his exploits in the virtual version of the competition.

The player scored the winning goal in the match against Argentina, and his abilities on the pitch are reflected by improved dribbling skills and an ability to shoot from the edge of the box or just inside it in order to deliver spectacular goals.

EA Sports has not said whether it plans to deliver a full Team of the Final for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 14 in the coming days or if it has any other initiatives designed to celebrate the end of the Brazil World Cup.

Special content associated with the tournament can be enjoyed both in the Ultimate Team and the Kick-Off modes, and a special game is offered on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

EA Sports is at the moment focused on creating FIFA 15, which will be offered on a variety of platforms in late September and will be powered by an improved version of the Ignite engine.
