It's unclear how many players are affected at the moment

The development team at EA Sports announces that it is working to solve a connectivity issue that’s affecting a number of players who are trying to use the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 14.

The company thanks fans for their patience and says that it will offer more information once the problem has been identified and eliminated.

It seems that the Ultimate Team connectivity problem is affecting gamers on all platforms and it seems unrelated to the recent maintenance period that affected FIFA 14.

Recently, EA Sports has announced that it is officially working on a 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup title, which will be offered on the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation 3 on April 15.

Gamers on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will also get Ultimate Team DLC built around the World Cup, although details have not been offered on its exact content.
