The development team at EA Sports working on FIFA 14 is delivering another Team of the Week package for the Ultimate Team game mode, allowing all those interested to get some solid players who have performed well for their clubs during the last seven days.

The highlights of the pack are two powerful attackers, Giroud from Arsenal and Sturridge from Liverpool, who have delivered impressive goals for their team during the weekend.

Joining them is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and EA Sports is also delivering a strong defensive line and capable midfield in order to back them up.

As always, the picks made by the studio have been a little controversial with a number of fans objecting to the presence of some players, but it’s hard to create a totally objective system to evaluate player performance.

The Ultimate Team mode has become more popular every year since EA Sports has introduced it and gamers are ready to spend real-world money and time in order to create their personalized competitive squads and climb the rankings.

The Team of the Week will continue to be released until the end of the regular season and might return in time for the World Cup.

EA Sports is currently working on a full 2014 Brazil World Cup title that will be only launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
