The development team at EA Sports working on FIFA 14 is ready to promote the football simulation to the masses with a new television spot that takes a novel approach to selling the genre with a mix of gameplay footage and high speed races in the desert.

The video features Lionel Messi, the best footballer in the world, Gareth Bale, the most expensive transfer of the summer, and singer Drake as they try out the new game and interact with each other.

FIFA 14 is designed to introduce more realism to the experience via new ball physics while also simulating the impact that a skilled player can have on a match.

The game will be launched on pretty much all currently available gaming devices on September 24 in North America and three days later in Europe, with versions for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 available with the release of the new hardware.
