The development team at EA Sports announces that it is aware of the connectivity issues that are currently affecting FIFA 14 on all platforms and that it is trying to solve them as fast as possible in order to allow all gamers to enjoy the football title.

The official Twitter account of the game also apologizes to fans for the inconvenience but it seems that at the moment there are no clear details about what might be causing the problems.

EA Sports will offer an official update as soon as the problem is resolved on all platforms.

Gamers will be frustrated by the inability to connect, especially given that at the moment real life World Cup matches are being played and that probably means many fans are currently aiming to recreate the situations and the challenges in the football simulation.

A World Cup update was delivered for both the Kick-Off and the Ultimate Team modes for FIFA 14.

EA Sports is at the moment working on a new title in the long running series, which is set to arrive in September and will include smarter players, more realism and improved physics for the ball that will increase the spectacle that matches deliver.
