The development team at EA Sports says that it has three core concepts it will focus on during the development of FIFA 14: innovation, player feedback and polish for all already existing features.

Polishing and player feedback have always been a core part of the FIFA experience, but the team has only recently understood that gamers also want to be surprised by their games, even if they constantly ask for evolution rather than revolution.

David Rutter, the executive producer on the FIFA series, tells WhatCulture that, “But the last part is the most fun, innovating – coming up with cool stuff that people aren’t expecting.”

FIFA 14 is expected to launch during September of this year, but the game is not yet officially revealed and no details about gameplay features are yet available.
