The development team in charge of EA Sports says that it is currently investigating the Ultimate Team and Football Club feature problems linked to FIFA 14 and that it is working to make sure that it improves the situation for all affected users.

The official Twitter message does not mention what might be causing the issues and the company is thanking all gamers for their patience.

It’s unclear when the Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 14 will be back to normal as the usual Team of the Week package is generally delivered to gamers at some point on Wednesday.

EA Sports continues to offer extensive support for the football simulation because the game still generates solid sales and because the various microtransactions associated with it have created a solid revenue stream for the company.

A new FIFA is set to be launched at some point during the fall and the team working on it has suggested that it plans to deliver an improvement in quality without any revolutionary new features, trying to use the power of the Ignite engine on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Until then, gamers can continue playing FIFA 14 or they can switch to the newly launched 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil if they are interested in international matches and final tournament glory.

UPDATE: The problems are solved for all those using the Ultimate Team feature, according to the developers.
