Codemasters has just released the Nintendo 3DS version of F1 2011 and has also deployed a launch trailer for the game to show off the racing simulator on the handheld device.

F1 2011 appeared earlier this year for platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and has just seen the release of its first handheld edition, for the Nintendo 3DS.

In the game, owners of the console can compete in the full season of Formula 1, enter individual Grand Prix races, or try out time trial and challenge modes.

There’s even multiplayer, which allows up to four people to compete in a Grand Prix, alongside AI-controlled opponents, or go head to head in time trials. There’s also a cooperative mode that allows two players to team up and tackle the career mode.

Check out the trailer above for F1 2011 on the 3DS, which is available right now in stores.
