Geoff Keighley has started teasing gamers regarding the upcoming The Game Awards, so far stating that fans can expect to see more of Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, and No Man's Sky later this week.

No Man's Sky was first announced a year ago, during the Spike VGX video game awards, and it made quite an impression, mostly due to its ambitious scope and vibrant visuals. We're still waiting for some proper, actual gameplay footage though.

The Game Awards will take place this Friday, December 5, and will be broadcast on a variety of online outlets such as Twitch, the Xbox Live dashboard and others.

In addition to awards for this year's games competing in a wide range of categories, the show will also offer us a fresh look at over 10 of the hottest upcoming titles, as producer Geoff Keighley shared on Twitter earlier.

So far, the names that have been dropped refer to already familiar titles, but Geoff did promise that, in addition to new gameplay videos, we would also get to see new video game announcements.

In case you'd like to have a look at the titles competing in the many categories featured in The Game Awards 2014, you can watch the nominee announcement video on Twitch.
