Evolve, the new multiplayer-focused shooter from Turtle Rock, will allow players to choose between four classes when it is first launched: assault, medic, support and trapper.

According to information from CVG, each of them is designed to work with its own initial abilities and with a clear selection of weapons and items.

As the game progresses, each character will have its unique progression system.

The developers offer the example of hunters, who have unlimited ammunition to engage the monster with, but can only die and be revived three times during a match.

The main game mode in Evolve is called Hunt and will see four players cooperating to take out the fifth, who inhabits the body of a powerful alien monster that’s capable of evolution.

Evolve is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but does not have an official launch date.
