Two new EverQuest Next Landmark developer diaries have been released, offering an abundance of details regarding the upcoming game tool's crafting system.

The new videos feature Lead System Designer Michael Mann explaining the basics of how crafting works in EQN Landmark, an explanation set to a gallery of in-game footage and concept art.

The crafting system offers players the opportunity to create activatable items (potions), cosmetic items (props and clothing) and items with stats (such as tools), with players selecting the item type from a list and then proceeding to customize the specific properties using a pre-defined set of variations such as color schemes.

Mann says that they have also integrated a relic item system that will allow experienced players to use the procedurally-generated system in a way that will allow them to create really spectacular items.

The second video offers more visual details on a particular in-game item, the Saw Table Crafting Station, as can be seen below.
