14 DAY TRIAL // John Smedley, the leader of Sony Online Entertainment, says that his team is ready to launch EverQuest Next on the PlayStation 4 at some point in 2015.
The information comes from an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, but the developer was not ready to deliver more details about the PS4 version of the new MMO.
When the game was first announced, SOE explained that it was focused on creating a very impressive PC-based experience.
Planetside 2 is also set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 during the first six months of the current year.
Smedley says, "This year is what we’re shooting for. It’s taking time to do this right but coming along great."
Meanwhile, SOE has plans to continue adding content to the PC version of Planetside 2, including an entirely new continent for gamers to explore, with interesting new resources to fight over.
