The development team at Sony Online Entertainment is delivering yet another video for its recently announced EverQuest Landmark, which shows off some of the concepts behind the game and the new desert environments.

The team explains that the video is meant to allow players to “Learn about the many components that make up EverQuest Next Landmark! In this episode of Building Blocks, we introduce the Desert Environment.”

EverQuest Landmark is designed to allow fans of the franchise to use a series of tools similar to those that the developers have access to in order to put together complex items and environments that can be used in the full release of EverQuest Next.

The two titles are set to be launched this year on the PC and the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony.

The MMO will use procedural mechanics in order to push the boundaries of the genre.
