Developer and publisher Paradox says that its recently launched Europa Universalis IV has been the most successful game in its history, both in terms of critical review and actual sales, and reveals that it will continue to deliver patches and DLC for the title.

On the official forums, one of the leaders of the team states, “Every balance change also brings a new and vibrant debate on our forums and in other communities and we will definitely take this into account when we keep working on the game.”

The post delivers more information on how the team thought up the new features of Europa Universalis IV and why it made changes to core mechanics like trading.

Paradox thanks all those involved in the creation of the grand strategy game, especially the fans.

No official DLC plans have been so far revealed for EU IV, which has just received a major 1.2 patch.
