Andrei Dumitrescu: I might have an addition problem with Deus Ex: Human Revolution and it might take me this weekend and the next two to properly and finally solve it.

It all started with the fact that there are so many choices in this game and that all of them seem to be appealing at certain points, unlike something like Dragon Age II or Fallout: New Vegas, where I could rationally pick between the paths that lay ahead of me.

I spent about a full hour thinking of a clear save system to use in the new Deus Ex in order to be able to have save points before all the big decisions in the game, so that I can explore them at a later date without playing through the entire narrative again.

It seems that my system is flawed, which means that the desire to know what alternate decisions will lead to will require at least three play through session of Deus Ex: Human Revolution before the year is done.

Andrei Dobra: After completing Deus Ex: Human Revolution and publishing my review yesterday, I'm now going back into the golden-themed role-playing shooter, in order to try out a few new approaches and maybe even achieve a pacifist playthrough, without killing anyone. I came close to this goal on my first one, but I got into quite a few hairy situations where stunning or tranquilizing enemies were no longer the best solutions to my problems.

When I won't be deciding what features of my half human, half robot body to augment, I might spend some time with a slightly less hardcore title, in the form of musical puzzle game Chime. I recently replayed a few levels to kill some time and its addictive nature pulled me back in. As such, I expect to spend quite a few hours once again combining various geometrical figures in an array of levels while listening to mesmerizing music.
