Andrei Dumitrescu: The fact that I have not played a FIFA game for quite some time and the apparent lack of news on the Football Manager 2012 front means that I might just spent this weekend doing head to head matches with my brother.

I plan to use my beloved Liverpool and he will probably use his ailing Arsenal and we will play FIFA 12 until we fill our gaming minds and souls with nothing but through passes, long range shots and sliding tackles.

The EA sports game really is that good and it's one of the best suited games out there that's well suited to a sibling rivalry.

And, speaking of man versus man gaming, we might also return to one of the staple gaming choices of our childhood, Mortal Kombat 4, the fighting game that has generated hatred which burned long between us.

We might be a bit rusty when it comes to the move set for the various characters but tactile memory does not fade away completely and we'll quickly remember how to pull out those awesome Fatalities.

Andrei Dobra: Once again, this weekend is going to be dedicated to quite a few different titles, including the ongoing Battlefield 3 open beta, Driver: San Francisco once more and probably some Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

First up, seeing as how the Caspian Border 64-player map has been unleashed for Battlefield 3 PC beta players, I'm jumping back into the test stage to check out the large level and see what new things it brings as opposed to the existing Operation Metro map.

After that, I'm continuing my ride through Driver: San Francisco, finishing off side quests and special races or challenges with some of the most powerful and impressive cars the racing game from Ubisoft Reflections has to offer.

When I'm not shooting my way through Battlefield 3 or racing my way through San Francisco, I'll jump into the multiplayer mode of Space Marine to hack and slash my way to victory, either for the Ultramarines or for the Chaos Marines.
