Andrei Dumitrescu: We're almost past the height of the autumn launch season, ready to enter that period of pre Christmas silence when we can go back and play again some of the most interesting games of the year before we worry about awards and about Game of the Year editions.

And for this weekend I plan to thoroughly enjoy Gran Turismo 5, the finally launched racing simulator that is exclusive to the PlayStation 3, seeing what all the hours of time put into it have created.

Polyphony Digital seem to have created a very solid gaming experience with the fully simulated cars a joy to look at and a joy to drive along the pretty varied track selection but it's not clear to me yet whether the game can sustain my interest in the long term.

And when high speed corners become too much for me I will return to Football Manager 2011 and my latest challenge, taking Southampton from the depths of the third division in England to as high as possible in the Premier League in no more than five seasons.

Now in my second year I am engaged in a fight to get past the mid table teams in the Championship and maybe get a promotion seat.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend I'll be spending my time hunting and killing in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, as well as racing in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

I already finished the main story of the game, but seeing as how I'm a completionist by nature, I'll be going around Rome and buying all of the shops or historical landmarks that I didn't have a chance to purchase.

Also, I think I'll go on see what trophies I didn't unlock up until now during this playthrough and try to unlock what I can, as well as go into more multiplayer matches.

After that, I'll swap out Italy during the Renaissance with Need For Speed's Seacrest County, and the hidden assassin blade with high powered supercars.

I still have quite a few levels to go through until the end, so it's safe to say that I'll either be going on illegal races or busting underground racers in the next few days.
