Spending more time with Skyrim, Need for Speed, Saints Row: The Third

Andrei Dumitrescu: I plan to try and reduce my sleep time for the weekend to just 4 hours a night, with a 30 minutes power nap during the afternoon just after the main meal of the day, in order to be able to spent more time with what is fast becoming my game of the year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

I have already played it for more than 60 hours but I feel like I have only gotten about maybe one third through it and I didn't even bother to try and go too far in the main quest.

The world is so vibrant and attractive that I still spend most of my time running around the world, trying to unlock all the locations, frustrated when the mountains are too high and I cannot find a passage, happy when I get to discover a hidden thief lair in the middle of a small island lost in the middle of a lake.

And when high fantasy become too much I will take Modern Warfare 3 for a spin in order to cleanse my palate.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend I'm definitely feeling the weight of all these big triple-A releases, as I'll devote my time to EA and Black Box' Need for Speed: The Run and to Saints Row 3: The Third, from THQ and Volition.

I absolutely loved NFS: Hot Pursuit from last year and, at least from my first look, The Run is emulating that same arcade feel although I'm a bit skeptical about the story from what I've seen so far. Still, as long as the cars handle great and I'm going through great locations, I'm pretty happy.

When I won't be racing cars across the U.S., I'll be vising Steelport city and once again lead the Third Street Saints and show the evil Syndicate just who's the most over the top gang around.

Already the opening segments of Saints Row 3 have set some high expectations from the rest of the game, so it's interesting to see just what's going to happen next and how it's going to top itself.
