Andrei Dumitrescu: I’ve recently gone through a surgical intervention on one of my toes, followed up by almost a week of recovery, time during which I was pretty much forbidden to sit in an upright position.

This means that I have played less video games than I wished to and this weekend is my first opportunity to jump back in and play a little.

I plan to return to my run-through MotorStorm Apocalypse that the medical issues interrupted, with the aim of spending some time both in the single player and multiplayer.

I will also play as much Dragon Age: Legends as I can because BioWare introduced a new area, complete with tougher enemies that finally deliver a stiff challenge to my level 20 rogue and its companions.

And, if I have time, I plan to squeeze in some time for Pro Cycling Manager 2010, mainly because the Brand Tours are back this weekend, with the Giro starting its first week.

And because being sick led to a lot of Star Trek: The Next Generation being watched on TV, I will also dabble in Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, the only game branded with the name that seems to have stood, to some measure, the test of time.

Andrei Dobra: After completing Portal 2's extremely fun cooperative campaign, I'll probably move on to some other titles, like The First Templar or the first Witcher.

I already had a quick look at The First Templar and I'm pretty intrigued with it, even if it needs a bit more polish to its engine.

While it's no Assassin's Creed, The First Templar will no doubt fill the time before other big games appear later this month, including L.A. Noire, Fable III or The Witcher 2.

Speaking of The Witcher, I'll probably continue my playthrough of the game's Enhanced Edition, in order to get myself familiarized with the story before starting the second role-playing game, which is set to appear on May 17, alongside many other titles.
