Andrei Dumitrescu: I love The Witcher 2, which I started playing at some point last week and have been barely able to put it down, and this is a game that offers enough twists and choices to justify two or three runs through it, so this weekend I will start a new game.

I plan to make the choices I did not make the last time around, even if I find some of them a little unpalatable, and will also actively hunt for those instant fail states that pop up at certain spots through the game.

I also plan on playing all the way through Normal this time through, even if the combat sometimes continues to feel very much unfair, which might mean that I will go through the load and save cycle for quite a few hours on the most difficult encounters.

I will also try to get away from my swordsman focus and try some more spells and alchemy related skills.

Andrei Dobra: After two weeks filled with exams, I will devote almost all of my weekend to catching up with the many new games that have just appeared.

I'm continuing my playthrough of Dirt 3, as Codemasters' newest racing game offers a great and varied experience, switching between race types all the time during the "Dirt Tour" mode.

I already dusted off my old Logitech controller, as controlling the cars in Dirt 3 is much easier with such a device than a regular keyboard on the PC.

When I won't be tearing through various racing events, I'll be continuing my campaign into The Witcher 2, as I couldn't really devote a lot of time for it up until now. While the combat is a bit different than in the original Witcher, the new RPG looks great and I'm keen on continuing the story of Geralt.
