Playing Europa Universalis IV and Game of Thrones

There's a part of me that wants to continue to play Galactic Civilizations III, now that I have finally discovered how different and cool the Drengin experience can be, especially when faced with puny Humans that fail to build up their military forces quickly.

As much as I like the Stardock experience, I will probably play less of it in the coming days and might even abandon it, waiting for a sequel in order to get a better experience out of it.

I want to spend most of my free time this weekend engaged with Europa Universalis IV, making sure that I get back up to speed with the title before the Common Sense experience is launched on June 9.

The grand strategy title is less complicated than Crusader Kings II, but there are still a lot of core ideas to deal with while trying to make Burgundy a world power (attempts that tend to fail because of the strength of France).

Paradox Interactive has created a video game that offers so many nations and so many options for each of them that it is hard to evaluate how long it would take to explore them all.

I tend to play mostly in Europe, and that means that Common Sense will introduce some mechanics that I truly look forward to, including enhanced province development and more options for both war and peace.
