Playing Game of Thrones and Wargame Red Dragon

This week, the gaming world was busy with E3 2015 and the many reveals and announcements associated with it, and this is one of the rare weekends when I plan to restrict my actual gaming as much as possible in order to clear my head a little.

With the industry growing from year to year and constantly finding new spaces to colonize, it is getting harder and harder to become completely separated from the activity.

I have recently uninstalled the Game of Thrones Ascent app from my Android phone exactly because it delivered too many notifications and tended to get me involved with the title even when I wanted to stay away from it.

Bethesda managed to deliver a big coup during E3 2015 with the launch of the Fallout Shelter app, which I plan to install and use as soon as it arrives for my operating system.

But until then, my weekend will consist of a lot of social interactions with friends, some planning for trips and reading.

When I really need a gaming fix, I will spend time with Wargame Red Dragon, a relatively old title that still has a solid multiplayer scene and encourages players to experiment, although the results can often be disastrous.
