Andrei Dumitrescu: I am done with Singularity, as you can see from the review I've posted. The Raven made shooter is solid when it comes to taking out enemies using a combination of weapons and time-based superpowers but lacks the immersion it needed to create a hit on the level of BioShock, the game it relates to in terms of ambition.

Now, I plan on sticking with Pro Cycling Manager 2010, the simulator from Cyanide and Focus, for about two weeks, while Le Tour de France 2010 is taking place in real life. This is the only cycling-oriented video game on the market and Cyanide delivers it with clockwork precision every year.

Unfortunately, the series has developed a bit of a habit of coming out initially in a rather bad shape, with a number of bugs that impede the fun. Some patches are already out but it seems Pro Cycling Manager 2010 will need a few more before being a game in close to perfect state. The community has already started putting together mods that do quite a bit to increase the realism of the game.

Mihail Cernea: I'll be spending some time with EA DICE games this weekend. After having started playing Bad Company 2 again, I managed to get into the Medal of Honor beta and I will be sharing with our readers some impressions about it in the coming days. All I can say right now is that Modern Warfare may get a strong contender this autumn. Bad Company 2 still remains my favorite military shooter of this generation, but the Medal of Honor reboot might prove to become a great smaller scale version of contemporary war.

In addition to this, today, Battlefield 1943 should be released on the PC and I hope I’ll get my hands on it as soon as possible. I have been expecting the PC version of this critically acclaimed multiplayer WW II-themed first person shooter due to the more accurate control and enhanced visuals.
