Andrei Dumitrescu: The big launch of the previous week was Killzone, the first-person shooter that is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 home console from Sony, and I plan to spend most of my weekend battling the orange-eyed Helghast and try to find a way out of their planet.

The game, as my Quick Look shows, is a clear improvement over the previous installment in the franchise and I seem to be drawing more enjoyment from it than from last year’s first-person shooters like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

I'm not in any way a lover of the genre, so the non-stop killing will probably tire me at some point and when that happens I will swing to the other end of the gaming spectrum and engage in some multiplayer matches in Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising.

Having mastered the Space Marines, where I usually play the Force Commander and am rather useless with the Techmarine, I plan to get into the Tyranids, wholly prepared to be initially trashed by better players as I discover the best way to use them on the battlefield.

Andrei Dobra: My weekend will be filled by two very different games: Bulletstorm and the demo for Dragon Age 2.

First off, I want to complete my first playthrough of Bulletstorm and see just how the story of Grayson Hunt and his ragtag team of mercenaries will escape the dangerous planet of Stygia and, in case you aren't familiar with the game, this means killing a huge amount of enemies through imaginative ways in order to get as much experience as possible.

After that, I'll probably go through the demo for Dragon Age 2 a couple of times, in order to see how the other character classes will handle.

I already completed it with a female warrior, but I'm interested to see how things turn out with a rogue or a mage.

Depending on my experience, I'll know what class to choose when the full Dragon Age 2 comes out at the beginning of next month.
