Andrei Dumitrescu: I sometimes wish that more developers would take the chance to release a more high-profile title in January and February, because it’s such an empty period of the year when it comes to important games.

Because nothing very important is out, I will return to those classic games that take up so much of my free time, Football Manager 2014 and Pro Cycling Manager 2013, trying to create a virtual space where my favorite teams, Liverpool and Trek, dominate their respective sports.

FM 2014 is truly an impressive experience, especially for those who have the time to take it slow and really tweak all aspects of their clubs.

My ongoing Liverpool campaign is now in its eighth full season and I am regularly managing to be in the top four in the Premier League, which is now dominated by Manchester City and a Newcastle that also has access to oil dollars.

In PCM 2013, I am more successful, as Trek is currently on its way to winning Le Tour de France after dominating the spring classics.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend, I'll spend some time with Dead Man's Draw, the card game from Stardock that finally reached the PC last week, as I've been waiting to try it out for quite some time.

When I am not shuffling and hoping to win, I'll probably go back to some of my old stand-by shooters, in the form of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2.

Thanks to the latest CS:GO update, there's a new gun and a new weapons case and I want to try the auto pistol and hope that the Weapons Case #3 will drop for me during my online matches.

Due to the Oculus Rift testing, my interest in Team Fortress 2 has once again awoken and I'm quite keen on getting back into Valve's free-to-play first-person shooter.
