Playing Trine 2, Skyrim, Saints Row 3 and Hearts of Iron III

Andrei Dumitrescu: Well, after spending close to 150 hours with Skyrim I believe that I am ready to wrap-up my last few Dark Brotherhood quests and then make the leap and finally end the main storyline and my love affair with the game world.

I might return to the province and to its impressive game world later, with another character (although my thoughts will always lie with my first Argonian love) and will try to play a little against my instincts, role playing a thief with a magical ability, probably built on the basis of a Khajit or a High Elf.

When not exploring Skyrim I will spend some time with the Complete Collection for Hearts of Iron III, the grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive, trying to stop the almost inevitable invasion of France in 1940 as the English and wandering the Russian steppes as the Germans.

Andrei Dobra: Throughout this week I’ve spent quite a lot of quality time with Trine 2, the gorgeous puzzle platformer from Frozenbyte, and I’m going to continue my experience with it over the weekend, even if I’m pretty close to finishing the single-player campaign.

After recommending it to quite a few of my friends, some of them have finally bought it and I’m ready to go through it once more, this time using the cooperative mode that finally supports online connectivity, not just local one.

When I won’t be solving puzzles and navigating precarious platforms, I’ll continue my much neglected playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, this time using Nvidia’s stunning 3D Vision technology, which makes immersing yourself in its virtual world that much easier, no matter if you’re simply exploring, going into combat, or enjoying some of the hilarious bugs from the game.

Last but not least, I might be able to jump back into Saints Row 3 for a bit, but only to pursue some of the more hilarious side missions included by the crazy team at Volition in the open world game.
