Andrei Dumitrescu: After a rather saturated month of March, the launch schedule is slowing down once more as we settle in for May and then the rather barren months of summer, when a smaller number of high-profile titles tend to be released.

This means that I can safely return to one of my main gaming obsessions, Football Manager, in order to once more push forward my most recent Liverpool season, which is now in 2020 and inhabits a footballing world that would be hard for a contemporary fan to recognize.

I plan to start another Arsenal season before the Premier League is through, but so far, I am enjoying the European duels I am having with both Barcelona, the long-term force of modern football, and the recent upstarts at Juventus and Dortmund.

When I tire of football, I plan to return to Total War: Rome II – Hannibal at the Gates in order to try and win a campaign with the Lusitani.

Andrei Dobra: My weekend will be dedicated to Lego The Hobbit the video game, as I'm pretty eager to continue the Lego binge I've been on in the last few months, started with Lego Marvel Super Heroes and continued with the Lego Movie game.

This time around, developer Traveller's Tales has delivered the blocky adventures from the Hobbit movies, complete with Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin, and their merry band of dwarves. Seeing as how the studio manages to infuse quality into each of its projects, I'm quite eager to see what it's done with this one.

When I am not traveling through Middle-earth, I'll probably jump back into the Broforce early access version as the game is hugely fun and urges you to keep experimenting with the different bros you can control throughout its wacky stages.

Radu Haulica: This weekend I'm planning to play some virtual cards, snooping around and seeing firsthand what Heart of Nightmares, the massive content update to Might & Magic: Duel of Champions, has brought to the virtual tabletop.

I've always liked fantasy card games, but unfortunately, stuff like Magic: The Gathering is simply too expensive. As such, I've been actively looking for a cheaper alternative in the digital world, but so far, nothing has gotten me quite as captivated as Wizards of the Coast's creation. They truly are the best in the genre, and their game is the most complex and exciting as far as mechanics go.

The good news is that there are many alternatives in the online world that can sate your thirst for card slinging and provide some variety and distraction until the inevitable MTG relapse, and Might & Magic: Duel of Champions looks like one of the contenders.
