So, Modern Warfare 2

Florian Totu: Just yesterday, I finished the single-player campaign of Modern Warfare 2 and, even if I think that it was a very short game, I have to admit I liked it. The title was intense, frantic, captivating and the airport massacre was right up my alley, as I really enjoyed acting like a sociopath. A lot of people complained about this portion of the game, and others, even if they decided to play it just so that they'd better understand the plot, did so passively, opting to not actually shoot any of the civilians. That's not me at all, so I lit them all up like the Christmas tree in a burning orphanage. The chances of going thorough the campaign again are slim, but I might do some more Spec Ops missions in solo play.

With the release of the demo for King's Bounty: Armored Princess, I got back into the mood for the game. I never really played The Legend that I should have when I first got my hands on it. I skimmed through the title, but didn't go very far. I think I tried it when I was in one of my dark days of WoW fanaticism relapse. I have those from time to time, disappearing for anything up to two weeks into even 18 hours of gameplay a day. As for Dragon Age, I haven't forgotten my Arcane Warrior, but it's not at all as cool as I hoped he'd be, at least at the beginning. I think I'll just play through all the origins to see the story of each while I wait for the Ostagar DLC.

Andrei Dumitrescu: For the third week in a row, my weekend-game time will be taken up by Dragon Age: Origins. I'm thinking of starting up a new mage character, probably focused on entropy and on fire spells, with an idea of getting the Blood Mage specialization, in order to compliment Morrigan in the party and get an experience that is different from that offered by my current dual-wielding, backstabbing rogue. With pretty much full knowledge of Dragon Age: Origins, the second playthrough will focus more on exploring alternative outcomes, which is something I encourage everyone to do in the game in order to see all that it has to offer.

If I ever get bored with Dragon Age, I will probably try some more Spec Ops from Modern Warfare 2. It's designed for cooperative play and it works beautifully in split screens for those who cannot be bothered to be social with someone online.
