Video game publisher Electronic Arts seems interested in getting into the board game market and its first launch might be something called Full Contact Bingo, according to a trademark filling that was uncovered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The trademark filling covers such areas like “electronic computer games provided via the Internet” and “downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software,” which suggests that Electronic Arts has refused to comment on the trademark.

The Full Contact name might suggest that the new Bingo adaptation will be oriented specifically towards devices which offer a touch screen, like tablets, mobiles and the new PlayStation Vita.

Activision Blizzard, EA’s main rival, has recently announced that it has plans to launch board game versions of its two biggest franchises, World of Warcraft and Starcraft II, linked to RISK and to Monopoly, two of the biggest board game franchises.
