CCP has confirmed that it's managed to get the servers for EVE Online and Dust 514 operational once again, after a strong DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack over the last two days.

EVE Online is one of the most popular multiplayer games out there and its companion experience, Dust 514, has managed to attract quite a few PlayStation 3 owners to its free-to-play shooter experience.

Sadly, both games were taken offline by developer CCP after a strong and sustained DDoS attack that started yesterday and continued until today.

Now, after a thorough investigation to make sure that no customer data was compromised, CCP has confirmed that the EVE Online and Dust 514 servers are once again operational.

A compensation has been promised by CCP in an official statement but, as of yet, no details are available.
