Video game publisher Electronic Arts has recently announced that its new chief executive officer is Andrei Wilson and the company now seems to be ready to make a number of other changes to its leadership.

The vacant position the new CEO has left at EA Sports, the creators of FIFA and Madden NFL, will be occupied by Patrick Soderlund, who has been until now the executive vice president of the EA Games label, according to a report from Polygon.

Frank Gibeau, the president of the same division, is set to take charge of the Origin digital distribution service and the part of Electronic Arts that delivers mobile experiences.

Andrew Wilson has said that he wants his company to continue to deliver quality game experiences while also seeking and exploring new markets for its products.

The company's big launch for the rest of the year is Battlefield 4, which will be offered in late October.
