Video game developer Techland and a company called Flying Carpet Studio are launching a new live-action short movie associated with Dying Light, which is designed to show fans how one of the most tense moments in the video game would play in the real world.

The video delivers a lot of parkour, some of it very impressive, some cool stand-offs, car traps that blow up and some cool combat sequences which really show the level of excitement the title can deliver.

Traditionally, movies based on video games have not performed well, but the undead-powered open world experience might be interesting to explore on the big screen.

Techland has managed to create a solid and engaging experience with Dying Light and the mechanics of the game are geared towards giving players space to explore the world and to find their own ways to deal with the various challenges.

The game has managed to sell well since it was launched and the studio might soon announce plans about downloadable content for it.

At the same time, Techland is saying that it is aiming to get more feedback from players about the problems they are encountering so that they can offer more patches in the coming weeks.
