Sentinel Heroes Studios has announced that their upcoming role-playing and turn-based strategy title Duty of Sentinel has officially changed its name to Sentinel Heroes.

Sentinel Heroes has been in closed beta for the past two months, and the developer has been constantly adding stuff to the title, such as a Talent System, Strengthen System, Wisps, Eclosion, and many others, expanding the gameplay and increasing the content that players can enjoy.

With the change of name, the strategy / role-playing game hybrid has also entered open beta testing, allowing players all over the world to engage in tactical clashes.

Players can register for the open beta of the game on the Sentinel Heroes website, which will allow them to claim all the gift packs that developer Sentinel Heroes Studios is offering, as well as to participate in the two forum events that are taking place during the open beta test.

In addition to this, there are many other generous rewards for players that can rise to the task of dominating the Raking Challenge or get the highest reputation points score or excel at either compounding or strengthening.

The game is playable in browsers and has the gameplay of an automated card game, a genre that's been around the web for some time now.

Also of note is the fact that it's pretty obvious where the developer took its inspiration from in crafting the conflict between the heroes of the Sentinel, the faction desperately trying to protect the World Tree, and the nefarious Scourge.
