CCP is set to kick off the beta stage for its long awaited Dust 514 online shooter next month, in April, and has just presented some fresh gameplay footage from the title.

Dust 514 is expected to deliver an intense multiplayer shooter experience that ties into CCP’s massively popular EVE Online role playing game.

We’ve already heard that Dust 514 is going to be fully free-to-play, and now a new GameTrailers video feature about the game has appeared.

In it, CCP’s CEO, Hilmar Petursson, and CMO, David Reid, reveal that the beta stage which has been running internally since last year, will finally be opened up to other players in April.

Plenty of other gameplay footage is featured in the video, which you can find below.

Check it out and get ready for a potential release of Dust 514 later this year, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
