14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at CCP in charge of the multiplayer shooter Dust 514 announces that the game is expected to launch on May 14 of this year, exclusively on the PlayStation 3 home console from Sony.
The official Twitter feed of the development team states, "DUST 514 launches on 5.14.2013 #dust514."
The game was initially expected to arrive about one week earlier, but it seems that the final version needs little more polish and balancing.
Dust 514 is a shooter with a massive multiplayer focus that takes place in the same universe as CCP's EVE Online.
The two titles will interact with a set of complex missions and bounty mechanics.
Dust 514 is free-to-play and allows players to create their own soldier and then take him to the battlefield and test his abilities and skills.
