A new Duke Nukem video game is in development, called Mass Destruction, and is being created by the team at Interceptor Entertainment.

The information comes from a teaser site that has been taken down and seems to indicate that an official announcement will be made on February 25, with the only bit of included artwork showing Duke’s favorite brand of bubblegum.

Interceptor has previously worked on Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded.

The page also asked gamers to like the official Facebook page and promised to offer a translation for a piece of alien text.

Fans have moved quickly to decipher it for themselves.

Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction will include mechanics that were never featured in the series, like tech trees and experience points.

It seems that the game has been in development since 2013 and that it will use the Unreal engine.

No platforms were revealed for Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction.
