The long awaited next-gen racing game might finally debut at the beginning of summer

A brand new retailer has pinned a release date on Driveclub, the long-awaited PlayStation 4 racing game, and says that it will debut for Sony's new console on June 12.

Driveclub was revealed right alongside the PlayStation 4 more than a year ago and was promised as a launch-day game that would debut both as a retail product and as a free edition with somewhat fewer features for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as Sony was forced to delay the whole project until early 2014.

We're now in the middle of spring and Driveclub is still nowhere to be seen, as Sony is just making promises of upcoming announcements.

The Dell online store, however, seems to have a different idea and has just posted a listing for Driveclub with a release date of June 12.

The date does make a bit of sense, especially when you consider that previous reports have also placed the release of the PS4 racing game in June.

It's also the last day of E3 2014 so it's possible that Sony wants to end the large event with a bang and a brand new game already available for its platform.

As of yet, however, the company hasn't confirmed anything about Driveclub's actual launch.
