Less compressed footage might be available for sharing, apparently

Driveclub developer Evolution Studios has talked a bit more about the video sharing options for the upcoming game and how it's working on an alternative solution for those who want to share uncompressed footage straight from the game.

Driveclub is one of the launch-day titles for the PlayStation 4 and developer Evolution will take advantage of all the features of the next-gen console, including the video sharing one that allows players to quickly upload their latest gameplay online.

Besides this method, which compresses the footage by a certain degree, Evolution is working on "alternative solutions for trying to get the highest quality" videos online.

According to one of the studio's representatives on NeoGAF, this is a bit tricky, as an uncompressed footage can be quite large, at around 6GB for a 2-minute video.

Driveclub will launch alongside the PS4 in November.
