Capcom has deployed a fresh trailer for its upcoming Dragon’s Dogma fantasy role playing game, this time focusing on the story and the unique conflict between the player character and a dragon who literally stole his heart.

Dragon’s Dogma is Capcom’s take on Western medieval fantasy RPGs, like The Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, and, just like its name suggests, also features dragons.

The new story trailer for the game, which you can enjoy above, serves to highlight the main conflict between the player character and the mystical dragon who steals his heart for his nefarious purposes. As you can see, the player doesn’t die after this encounter, but he does find himself in a pretty major predicament.

Seeing as how the development is led by producers who previously worked on other Capcom titles like Devil May Cry or Resident Evil, you can expect some elements from those games to show p in the gameplay of Dragon’s Dogma.

You’ll be able to experience the Japanese role playing game on May 22, in North America, and May 25, in Europe, when it will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Don’t forget that new copies of the game also include access to the Resident Evil 6 demo.
