A gameplay video featuring the first half hour of Square Enix's Nintendo 3DS exclusive Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key has surfaced on the internet.

The reveal was not made by chance, but as a NintendoLife exclusive treat that illustrates the beginning of Square Enix's remake.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key has just been released in Japan on February 6, both in retail and digitally, and also features a special 3DS bundle with a physical copy of the game and a Dragon Quest Monsters 2 3DS LL.

The game is a remake of the 2001 Game Boy title Dragon Quest Monsters 2: The Mysterious Key to Malta, which featured two versions, both of which are included in the new release.

All the text and voice acting in the video are in Japanese, and for now no official statement has been issued regarding a potential Western localization of the game.
