Bandai Namco Games has released a brand new video for the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball Xenoverse, introducing the story of one of the series' main characters, Piccolo.

The expert strategist, formerly an enemy of Goku, ends up joining the Z Fighters and becoming a permanent member throughout the series.

He will also show up in the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and his trailer features his fight against Raditz and his interactions with the Future Warrior.

As the game comes from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai maker Dimps, it features a ton of exciting combat, including massive aerial battles.

The game follows the Dragon Ball canon but delivers a completely original story, featuring most of the series' cast, and having players travel in time in order to change some of the events of the past, with the goal of preventing a catastrophic event from taking place in the future.

There will be a number of completely new areas for fans of the franchise to explore, and the best thing about it all is that players will be able to create their own custom characters to play the game with.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is coming out for Windows PC and for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 home consoles, tomorrow, on February 5, in Japan, and on February 24 in North America and February 27 in Europe.
