The game does not really have 40 endings, but it has at least one hipster, Dorian

Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of the hottest games coming out in October this year, a massive role-playing game that has magic, dragons, tactics, and a great story to tell.

Developer BioWare touted over 40 different endings for the upcoming game last week, dropping an astounding number of jaws in the process. It turns out the claim was a bit far-fetched, as there are actually fewer major endings, that, depending on the choices you make while playing the game, can end up with a certain number of variations.

"Most endings are major variations based upon your choices in the game. There are only a few completely unique endings," Dragon Age series executive producer Mark Darrah explains on Twitter.

In other news, a new NPC has been confirmed for the game, in the form of Dorian, a swashbuckling young fellow sporting a dashing moustache.

Furthermore, for those who want to feast their eyes on the glorious visual spectacle that is Dragon Age: Inquisition, there's a new gameplay footage video on the Internet, sneakily recorded during a behind-closed-doors session at E3 2014 last week.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is currently scheduled to debut on October 7, 2014, coming to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
