The development team at BioWare is ready to offer the first official details about the new Vivienne character that players will be able to deal with in Dragon Age: Inquisition, explaining that she is known as Madame de Fer, or Iron Lady, for her inner strength and political power.

A short official description offered in a blog post explains that she leads a Mage faction and is enchanter to the Imperial court in Orlais.

BioWare adds that, "Vivienne allows nothing to stand in the way of what she desires—not those who claim she is a social climber, not those who seek to restrict her power, not even her fellow mages who would conscript her into a rebellion with which she disagrees."

Vivienne is one of the characters that will strive to create order in the world around her, although she might use a little too much force to achieve that goal.

The team is also offering an official cosplay guide for the new character and invites gamers to check back soon in order to get more details about her.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched during the fall on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
