The development team at BioWare might not be yet ready to offer full details on the narrative that will run through its upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, but it seems pretty clear that the familiar face of Alistair will make at least an appearance.

Steve Valentine, the voice actor associated with the character, was in the studio during the last few days recording lines for the game, which has been confirmed by the official Twitter account of the company.

Of course, he might be lending his voice to another character, but both the actor and the development team are suggesting that Alistair is making a return.

The character was first introduced in Dragon Age: Origins and was one of the romantic possibilities for the player.

He also played an important role in comic books associated with the role-playing game franchise and the cannon is currently saying that he is the acting King of Ferelden and at the same time, a member of the Grey Warden.

That could make him a powerful ally for the protagonist of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The game will take place mostly in Orlais and will be launched in the fall of this year on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and PlayStation 4 from Sony.
