The development team at BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts might have delayed the launch date of Dragon Age: Inquisition, but the two companies are determined to keep fans interested in the title and the most recent gameplay video for the experience delivers more details on the combat system.

The new role-playing game aims to mix the best elements of the two previous titles in the series, while also introducing a number of new elements.

Gamers can choose to control any member of the party during combat, but they also have the choice to pause the action in order to deliver orders and to plan things on a strategic level.

Dragon Age: Inquisition also introduces a new system designed to measure the team work between characters, which can be used to power a number of impressive special abilities.

The footage also shows a few environments that gamers have not seen before and features many of the protagonists that were previously profiled on the official site.

BioWare states, "Learn how to command the battle with a demonstration of both real-time action and the strategic tactical camera."

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony on November 18 of this year.
