Gamers can take a look at the core cooperation mechanics

The development team at BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts are eager to promote the multiplayer mechanics that will be introduced in the new Dragon Age: Inquisition, designed to allow gamers to join up with friends and take out waves of enemies as they explore a number of massive structures from the world of the game.

A new Twitch stream allows all those interested to take a look at the core mechanics and the way teamwork is required for survival and progress, and there’s plenty of other elements to look at in the 90-minute video, in which the action starts around the 5 minute mark.

The multiplayer in Dragon Age: Inquisition is very similar to that seen in Mass Effect 3, but somehow the concept seems less appropriate for the fantasy world created by BioWare and the gameplay is somewhat slower.

It will be interesting to see whether the studio can generate enough excitement around the experience in order to make it relevant in the long term or whether gamers will be more focused on the single-player story.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out on November 18 in North America and on November 21 in Europe and can be played on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and last-gen consoles.
