Many Dragon Age: Inquisition players created male characters for their playthroughs of the story campaign, at least according to some fresh statistics provided by BioWare that further break down the choice by platform.

BioWare has shared some stats on Twitter concerning its recent Dragon Age: Inquisition role-playing game, confirming just how many players choose to create a male character or a female one in the single-player story mode.

Overall, 68% of players went with a male inquisitor while 37% of them went with a female one.

BioWare has also offered some more specific data, breaking down the choice depending on the platform. As you can see in the image above, by far the most male-oriented players are on the Xbox One and PS4 consoles.

Meanwhile, on the Xbox 360 and PS3, a lot more people are willing to create a female character, while the PC is the closest to equality between the two genders.

Considering Dragon Age: Inquisition's sprawling story offers a lot of content and plenty of decisions, it's quite possible that, eventually, those who made male characters will create a female one to see things from that perspective and probably make different choices.

You can bet that BioWare is going to share more such data about Inquisition's players in the future.
