The new event is challenging but takes a longer time

Dragon Age: Inquisition has just received a brand new weekend event for its cooperative multiplayer mode, this time tasking fans with killing dragons as part of the new Dragonslayer expansion that's been released earlier this month for the role-playing game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launched back in November and impressed millions of fans through its solid single-player campaign, not to mention the pretty intense cooperative multiplayer mode, which focuses on teams of four players going through environments and killing various enemies.

After getting the first DLC for the title, in the form of the Destruction add-on, the multiplayer mode got a fresh expansion earlier this month, in the form of the Dragonslayer one.

The DLC brought forth, as its name suggests, dragon battles to the multiplayer experience, new characters, a fresh environment, and a variety of other tweaks, all for free.

Now, after the first multiplayer event since Dragonslayer's expansion focused on killing dragonlings, the second one, valid this weekend, ups the ante and tasks fans with killing full-fledged dragons.

The individual player goal is to kill six dragons, while the PS4 community must take down 8000 beasts. The PC and Xbox One fans must vanquish 5000 dragons, while PS3 and Xbox 360 users have to take down 1500 of them.

The special event is already underway and ends at 5am on Wednesday, May 20, according to the website.
